Language analysis is a new field within linguistics. In many areas of this field, there is still no consensus among linguists about the possibilities and limitations of language analysis. Linguistic research and discussion about the languages that language analysis is performed in, and about methods of research and analysis, are therefore of great importance for the quality of our work. De Taalstudio regularly organises conferences where researchers can discuss these questions amongst themselves.
